Fellowship Moravian Church is the realization of a shared vision of the Rev. Dr. Walter Eversley, at the time pastor of John Hus Moravian Church, and lay members of both First Moravian Church in New York City and John Hus Church in Brooklyn, N.Y.

June 26, 1988

The Charter closes with 70 communicant members, a growing Sunday School and a vibrant Youth Program.

1987
March 1987

The Fellowship opens its Charter with 30 members.

1986
October 12, 1986

The Northern Province assigns the late Bishop Stanley Thomas as Pastor-Developer. Bishop Thomas remains with the Fellowship until its transition to a full-fledged church. 

October 6, 1986

“Brooklyn Moravian Fellowship” celebrates its first public worship service at the Advent-Gravesend Lutheran Church on Avenue P in the Gravesend section of Brooklyn.

September 1986
